It’s great to gather in a big group to worship - for instance on a Sunday - but it’s also really important to have the opportunity to explore our faith in a smaller setting.
At St Peter’s, we encourage everyone to belong to one of these small groups. These meet through the week at a variety of times and places. We encourage these groups to eat together regularly, to care for one another practically, to explore the bible together and to pray together.
This happens in different ways with different groups but at the heart of it all we aim to help one another:
be with Jesus
become like Jesus
and do what Jesus did.
When we become Christians, God puts us in His family: the church. The point of church is that, as a community, we help one another to be followers of Jesus.
