Pastoral Care

When we become Christians, God puts us into a family called the church. The point of this is to be a community where we help one another to become followers of Jesus.

We seek to be a church where we love one another and care for each other prayerfully and practically.

This happens partly through the small groups where we look after one another.

In addition, we have two Lay Pastoral Ministers and one Lay Chaplain whose roles are to oversee amongst other things:

  • visiting the unwell at home and in hospital (taking home communion as needed)
  • the organisation of services in residential care settings
  • ministry to those who have been bereaved
